Dutch Bros is built around a drive-thru window, not a catering department, and that shapes every answer on this page. There is no national catering menu, no delivery arm and no event package. What there is: a 96 oz Traveler box that solves most office orders on its own, and a shop crew that will happily batch a larger order if you give them a day's warning.
The Traveler, explained
A Traveler is a 96 oz insulated box of hot coffee, supplied with cups, lids, sweetener and cream. It pours about 10–12 small cups and holds temperature for roughly an hour. At $25–$35 it works out cheaper per head than buying individual smalls, and it removes the problem of taking twelve separate drink orders.
- Order it hot — the box is designed for brewed coffee, and that is what it does best.
- Collect close to serving time. An hour is the practical window.
- Ask what comes with it so you are not buying cups separately.
- One box per ten people is the planning rule that works.
What you can order in bulk
| Drink | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|

| Hot cocoa Traveler96 oz box · serves 10–12 small cups — Not stocked everywhere — ring ahead. The obvious choice for a group with children. | ~$28 – $38 | — |
| Iced tea or lemonade Traveler96 oz box · serves 8–10 cups over ice — Availability varies by shop. Ask for ice on the side so it does not dilute. | ~$25 – $35 | — |

Anything not on that list is ordered as individual drinks at standard menu prices — which is fine for a group of six and unwieldy for a group of sixty. Full per-category pricing is on theprices page.
How much to order
| Group size | What to order |
|---|---|
| 10 people | 1 Traveler, or 10 individual drinks |
| 20 people | 2 Travelers plus a few individual specials |
| 50 people | 4–5 Travelers — and call at least 48 hours ahead |
| Mixed group | One coffee Traveler plus one cocoa or tea Traveler covers most preferences |
| Morning meeting | Coffee-heavy. Order for 60% of the room, not 100% |
| Afternoon event | Shift the ratio to tea, lemonade and cocoa |
How to place the order
| Step | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Call the shop directly | Bulk orders are arranged shop by shop, not centrally |
| Give 24–48 hours notice | A drive-thru cannot absorb a 40-drink order during a rush |
| Avoid the morning peak for pickup | Mid-morning or early afternoon collection goes far smoother |
| Ask what travels | Blended drinks and anything with Soft Top do not hold |
| Confirm cups and extras | Travelers normally come with cups, lids, sweetener and cream |
| Scan your Dutch Pass | A large order earns points like any other — 3 per $1 |
Find your shop and its hours on the locations page and thehours guide — collecting outside the morning peak is the single biggest thing you can do to make a large order go smoothly.
What survives the journey
7 drinks
| Drink | How well it travels |
|---|---|
| Hot brewed coffee | Travels best. That is what the Traveler box is designed for. |
| Hot cocoa | Holds well for an hour or so. Good for a mixed-age group. |
| Iced tea and lemonade | Fine if you keep the ice separate and add it on arrival. |
| Blended Freezes and Frosts | Do not order for a group. They separate within minutes. |
| Rebels over ice | Drinkable but diluted. Order individually and hand them out immediately. |
| Anything with Soft Top | It collapses in transit. Ask for it on the side or skip it. |
| Espresso drinks in quantity | Possible, but they are pulled one at a time — expect a wait. |
No drinks match that filter.
The rule is simple: poured drinks travel, blended drinks do not. A Freeze ordered for a group twenty minutes away arrives as a cup of sweet liquid. If the group wants blended, order at collection and hand them out at the door.
What it costs per person
- Traveler: roughly $2.50–$3.00 a cup. The cheapest way to caffeinate a room.
- Individual smalls: $3.00–$5.00 each, plus the time to take twelve orders.
- Individual specials: $5.00–$7.50 each once Rebels and Freezes are involved.
- Muffin tops: ~$2.00 each — the cheapest thing you can add to any of the above.
For twenty people, two Travelers and twenty muffin tops lands around $100. Twenty individual signature drinks lands closer to $130 and takes far longer to hand over. If the group is small enough that individual drinks make sense, the best drinks list and the most ordered drinks are the safest picks for people who do not know the menu.
